MICAM: some figures
MICAM is one of the most important international footwear fairs in the world. It was born in 1969 and is held twice a year in Milan, Italy. More than 1,500 exhibitors from around the world participated in the last edition, held in September 2022, and more than 43,000 professional visitors were registered.
During the fair were presented the latest trends in footwear for the spring-summer season of 2023, with a variety of styles and designs for men, women and children. The fair is divided into several sections, including sections for women’s shoes, men’s shoes, children’s shoes, sports shoes, leather goods, etc.
The exhibitors of the event are mainly shoe manufacturers as well as shoe accessories. MICAM attracts an international audience of footwear professionals, such as importers, exporters, distribution agents, retailers and footwear brands.
About the MICAM 2023 edition
The next edition of the fair will take place from 17 to 20 September 2023 at the Fiera Milano Rho (Strada Statale Sempione, 28 20017 Milan, Italy).
To participate in this fair as an exhibitor, it is necessary to be a producer, distributor, agent or representative of footwear and leather.

How much does it cost to participate a fashion fair like MICAM?
Participating in fashion shows can be a significant expense, but it can certainly resonate with a valuable investment if done strategically. The cost of going to MICAM will include: Cost of the exhibition space, design and construction of the stand, transport and logistics, promotional materials, travel expenses, accommodation, daily subsistence allowance and other additional expenses.

The data here are for a 16 m² stand which is the minimum size. It does not include the configuration of the stand and the furniture, as it is a bare exhibition surface: you can bring your own stand or ask Fiera Milano for a standard configuration solution (additional 120 €/m² or 200 €/m²).
As for housing according to Hotels : from 16 to 21 September (5 nights for two people), the price varies around 300 euros (6km from the place) for the stay and between 700 and 1000 euros to be the closest. There is also this website that can offer different accommodation options for the fair.

FASHNROOMS: some figures
Fashnrooms is one of the most important fairs of the fashion industry in Europe, held twice a year. As an example, the February 2022 edition brought together more than 2,000 exhibitors from 70 different countries and welcomed more than 90,000 professional visitors.
The fair presented the latest fashion trends for the autumn-winter 2022/2023 season, including clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women. The salon is divided into several sections, including women’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s clothing, lingerie, accessories, etc.
Exhibitors are mainly high-end European brands. And visitors are retailers, buyers, brand representatives and fashion professionals who want to discover current trends and new collections.
About the FASHNROOMS 2023 edition
The next edition of the fair will take place from 22 to 24 July 2023 in the Areal Böhler (located in Hansaallee 321 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany).
